Wilma R. Wunder-Chiagouris nee Else, age 94, longtime resident of the Historic Pullman Neighborhood and wife for over 40 years to S. George Chiagouris passed away on May 22, 2022 with family by her side.  Wilma was a graduate of Morgan Park High School.  She spent her entire work life as a server, first at the Branding Iron in Oak Lawn and later at the Martinique in Evergreen Park.  She later became the restaurant manager for the Hotel Florence in the Historic Pullman District where she raised her four children.  Her dedicated work at the Hotel Florence and the Greenstone Church in Pullman was significant in the preservation of Historic Pullman. Mother of Robert (Susan) Wunder, Steven (Mary Kay) Wunder, Rebecca (Jon) Bartelli, Kyle (late Louis) Frigo, Cynthia (Thomas) McMahon, Larry (Frances) Chiagouris, Barry (Jeri) Chiagouris.  Grandmother of 14, Great Grandmother of 26.  Daughter of the late Ruth nee Lilja and Daniel Else.  Sister of the late Daniel (late Joanne) Else.  Aunt and friend to many.  Memorial visitation at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th st (U.S. RT 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the memorial service at 4:00 P.M.  Internment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Ill.
