Alberta “Tina” Valente nee Marianelli. Age 102. Crown Point resident formerly of Tinley Park, Homewood and Chicago’s Roseland and Pullman Neighborhoods. Wife of the late John A. Valente.  Mother of Jayne (Raymond) Mathews, the late Judith and David Valente. “Nonie” of Katie (Deaunte) Ferrell and Michael (Danielle) Mathews. Great “Nonie” of D.J. and Eden Ferrell, Kennedy and Sydney Mathews. Daughter of the late Giovanna nee Viero and Arthur Marianelli. Sister of Anida Balmer and the late Lorraine (late Mario) Ubaldi. Aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. Tina was a homemaker all her life. She particularly loved cooking for family, gardening and of course, her grandchildren. Resting at St. Joseph Church, 17951 Dixie Highway, Homewood on Tuesday November 16, 2021 from 9:00 AM until time of funeral mass 10:30 AM. Private interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip.
