Received his Bachelors in Psychology from Western Illinois University then Bachelors in Nursing from Loyola Mayhoff in Maywood. Dedicated nurse at the Ingalls Urgent Care in Flossmoor former ER nurse at Franciscan Health Olympia Fields. Loving husband for 10 years of Heather nee MacLeod. Son of Barbara nee Buettner and the late Raymond Wigell. Brother of Katherine (Robert) Hentschel and Elizabeth Wigell. Grandson of the late Amanda Wigell nee Santiago and William (late Florence) Buettner. Son in law of Douglas (Mary) MacLeod. Brother in-law of James (Beth Goldberg) MacLeod and Connor (Allison Carlson) MacLeod.  Nephew, cousin, friend and mentor of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th St (US rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Thursday September 9, 2021 from 2:00 pm until time of funeral services 8:00 pm. Burial private.
