Eva Romana Planera nee Cipolla. Age 85. Long-time Chicago Heights resident, emigrated in 1958 from Amaseno, Provincia di Frosinone, Italy.  Retired seamstress from Stead Textile and, later, Roseland Draperies.  Wife of 61 years to the late Thomas Planera.  Mother of Thomas (Gayle) Planera, Rita Planera, Teresa (Marco) Bravo, and Romana (Michael) Malinowski.  Grandmother of Alessandra (Mark) Welsh, Thomas J. Planera, Adam P. Clayton, Madeline M. Clayton, and Paige E. Malinowski. Great-grandmother of Helen Ann Welsh.  Daughter of the late Teresa nee Gerardi and Amerigo Cipolla. Sister of Antonio (Rose) Cipolla, Anna (late Angelo) Palombi, the late Giuseppe (Giuseppina) Cipolla, and Marisa Cipolla.  Beloved Zi’ Eva to many nieces and nephews, and friend to many.  Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th Street (US Rte. 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Thursday February 18th from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  Funeral Friday 10:15 am from funeral home to Infant Jesus of Prague, Flossmoor. Mass 11:00 AM. Internment Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood.
