Helen A. Gereg nee Marias age 96. Born July 5, 1922 in Lednicke Rovne, Czechoslovakia, passed away peacefully at her home in Chicago Heights on Sunday October 14th with her family by her side. Wife for 60 years of the late Joseph R. Gereg. Mother of Mary Ann (David) Rockrohr, Doreen (Greg) Ciecierski, Robert (Kathleen) and Jeffrey (Ruth) Gereg. Grandmother of 14; great grandmother of 24. Sister of Ann (late John) Matus and the late John (late Eleanor) Marias, Joseph (late Diane) Marias. Aunt and friend to many. Former member of the Catholic War Veterans Women’s Auxiliary, Tuesday Afternoon Chicago Heights Seniors and past president of the SOKOL Union. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Thursday October 18th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
