Graduate of Chicago St. Pius V Commercial High School.   For 16 years, worked for the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County - Sixth Municipal Division. Devoted wife for 53 years of the late Honorable Richard A. La Cien. Loving mother of Mary Ellen (David) Born, Richard (Laura) La Cien, Gregory (Kim) La Cien, Brian (Bridget) La Cien and the late Baby Girl La Cien. Cherished grandmother of Brendan Harrison Born, Richard La Cien III, Gina Marie La Cien, Charles Richard La Cien, William Angelo “Liam” La Cien and Brian Edward La Cien. Daughter of the late Dorothy nee Boyle and Charles Lo Verde. Sister of Dorothy (late Wilfred) Hickey, James (Jean) Lo Verde, Carol (William) James, preceded in death by Charles (Marion) Lo Verde, Geraldine (Donald) Barman, Robert (late Geraldine) Lo Verde, Mary Ellen Lo Verde and David (Cheryl) Lo Verde. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Friend of many and loved by all.  Memorial visitation at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Sunday May 19, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
