I loved Greg as a brother! We spent our teen age years on the beaches and piers of Grand Haven! He was very fast fast and an excellent beach football guy! I enjoyed his kindness, generosity, and wacky sense of humor! He was our best man 53 years ago! He was always proud of his Catholicism and outspoken about it which I admired!

I hope to fish ,swim, and play football with him again someday in the next world!

Greg was one of the kindest, most generous and unassuming people I have ever known. He was a wonderful teacher and coach,  whose quirky wit and dedication affected the live of so many students. I am proud to have called him my friend. Fair winds sailor, rest in peace.
