    To Karen's family:

Karen will be dearly missed. Growing up together as part of the Granato family and as cousins was very special. I will never forget all the family parties and Christmas gatherings, singing, dancing, and laughing together.  In our twenties, Karen and I travelled together. Fondly, I remember trips to San Francisco, Las Vegas to see Elvis Presley in concert, Florida, and Hawaii -- with a friend of Karen's and my sister Linda. We had lots of fun! My memories of laughing together and having lots to talk about always will be there forever.

    With love,

    Cousin Sandy

To the family of Ms. Karen:

Ms. Karen was a wonderful person with a sweet spirit.  I first met Ms. Karen when she worked for Southland Health Care Forum.  Each time I visited her office, she had me in tears laughing about life.  I remember my phone was ringing and she said, "That ringtone is for someone special."  I laughed and responded that the call was from my ex-boyfriend.  She had jokes for days asking me how my "boyfriend" was doing.  Something as simple as a ringtone turned into laughs whenever I would see her.

Ms. Karen will be missed by so many, especially her family.  May God give you comfort during this time of sorrow.  Think on the wonderful memories you shared with Ms. Karen and I hope it brings you joy.  Sending lots of hugs to all, especially Dee.

Karen, I will miss you. We met in 2016 at Southland Health Care Forum. She was extremely helpful and kind and we became fast friends. I am missing her already.
