Worked his entire life at the family business Thrall Enterprises starting at Thrall Car Company in Chicago Heights and Operations Manager for the past 40 years at Nazdar. Longtime member of Olympia Fields Country Club. Jay enjoyed spending his free time with family, friends and on the golf course. Husband for 43 years of Polly nee Korkos. Father of Luke Thrall, Naomi (Mark) Cochrane, Jeremiah (Stephanie) Thrall and Adam Thrall. Grandfather of Finley and Lyla Cochrane, Vanessa and Monroe Thrall. Son of the late Marilyn “Lynn” nee Feil and Jerome “Jerry” Thrall. Brother of Jeff (Suzi) Thrall, Randy (Judy Gorman) Thrall, Brooke Thrall, Chris (Cynthia) Thrall and Jan (Michael) Mazza. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Sunday February 18, 2024 from 12:00 Noon until 7:00 pm.
