Louise F. Brink (nee Doody) daughter of John Doody and Catherine (nee Schutzius) Doody, age 91 of Chicago Heights, formerly of Chicago’s Southside, passed away on September 3, 2023. Beloved wife for 64 years of the late William John Brink. Loving mother of Bill (Terry) Brink, Mike (Melinda) Brink, Patricia (Art) Katz, and Karen (Brett) Slover. Cherished grandmother of Brett (Nicole) Slover, Marissa (Anthony) Crescenti, Sara Brink and Maranda Brink. Proud great-grandmother of Collin, Caiden and Cylee Slover, Mary Joy Sipla and Genevieve Crescenti. Lou was a former member of the American Legion Post 131 Chicago Heights Ladies auxiliary. She was dearly loved by many and a woman of true grit. Lou will always be remembered for her sense of humor, her love of jokes and her furry dog Kaydee.
