Hal “Charlie” Wurster. Age 72. Dyer, Indiana resident formerly of Matteson and Chicago’s Roseland Neighborhood. Graduate of Fenger High School. Retired from R.R. Donnelley after 30 years of service in many different roles. Husband of 50 years to Linda nee Sapienza. Father of Amy (Phillip) Mueller, Charlie (Julie) and Christopher (Mary) Wurster. Papa to Emily, Brandon and Alex Mueller, Jacob, Hannah, Sophie, Colin, Grace and Miles Wurster. Son of the late Beatrice nee Kooistra and Robert Wurster. Brother of Robert (Linda), Penny Zilewicz, Linda (Mike) Baker, Barry (Elsa), Tom and Bonnie Wurster. Uncle to many loved nieces and nephews. Son in-law of Phil Sapienza and the late Betty nee Hill. He loved camping every fall, being a coach, and whichever Chicago baseball team was winning that year.  He especially loved being Papa, visiting with friends, and finding the best deal possible.  He will be missed dearly by everyone who had the pleasure to know him.  Especially his Lin.  We miss him already.  Memorial service to be held at a later date.     Charlie was a dear dear friend. Our hearts are so sad right now.  We have truly lost a good friend. We will miss our times together with him and Linda.  Linda we love you and want you to know we are here for you.  We pray for your family at this time of grief and know he will be missed.  Love you Julie and Ed Braasch

    I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Hal. I will miss seeing you and having our little conversations on camping and campers! I know how much you enjoyed it. You always loved talking about your family. That smile says it all.  Lin, prayers to you and your family.
