Retired from Maxon Corp after 12 years an Executive Assistant. Wife for 62 years of Roger Nichele. Mother of Valerie (Jaime Aruguete) Nichele, Douglas (Kristi) Nichele and Darryl (Katrina) Nichele. Grandmother of Nicole (Chris) Detmar and Benjamin (Ann) Nichele. Great grandmother of Brooklynn Ann Detmar. Daughter of the late Sigrid nee Ericksson and Lars Pearson. Sister of the late Doris Bystrom, Norma (late Bob) Semro, Dale (Janet) Pearson and Donny (late Kathy) Pearson. Sister in-law of Gloria (late Paul) Nichele-Rosenthal and Grace (late Adolph) Lang. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th St (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Monday August 16, 2021 from 9:00 am until time of funeral services 11:00 AM.   On behalf of my mother Janet, and my children, I am remembering my wonderful Aunt with fondness. She and Roger always opened their home to us and the fun we had as children playing with our cousins is imprinted upon my brain. Though distance kept us apart for so many years, the family ties have always kept our love for Joan close. Our deepest sympathy on her passing.
