I will always have a special place in my heart for my dearest friend and devoted animal lover, Lola. We went on many animal rescues together to save and help those that we were able to, which were many! My husband Les and Ernie and Lola and I had many fun times out at animal rescue benefits. And also at the big summer parties on our farm. I will miss our phone conversations my friend. Will think of you when I'm out on a rescue. Love you always Lola. Fly Free! Cheryl

Lola was a wonderful friend and neighbor to my sister Georgianne DePasquale as well as myself during extended visits to Olympia Fields. Her love for animals and her dedication to their welfare was reflected in her long term commitments to local communities in support of animal rescues. We will miss her love and compassion.
Rest in Peace Lola,
Love,

Lola was dearly loved by many- I always admired Lola- Her grace, intelligence, warmth and sincerity- Her life long leadership in the fight for Justice of the vulnerable, the voiceless ones. She and Ernie, her dear husband and rescue partner were a blessing to many on this Earth. We'll never forget you dear beautiful Lola.

Lola was special. She and I shared many years with the Olympia Fields Woman's Club, volunteering and raising money for local charities. I admired Lola for her dedication to animal rescue even at great cost to herself. She was friendly and welcoming to all and she made her community a Berber place. She will be missed but I am happy to have had her as a friend.

Lola was a very wonderful person and a neighbor and a dedicated member of the Sharp organization Olympia fields.
We first made personal contact with Lola when when we gave her a blinking light bulb to use in case of an emergency Two days later Lola called and said the bulbs work for Ernie had fallen while removing snow from the driveway.
There will be very few like people like Lola today.
For years, Lola untiringly volunteered to serve as Olympia Field's animal rescue person for years. She remains an unsung heroine to may for her unselfish services and love of animals, especially dogs
We will miss Lola and may she now now rest in peace but never be forgotten
